Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

The entity responsible for data processing on this website is listed in our Impressum / Legal Notice.

What data we collect, and why

Ad listings. When you post a job ad or a "looking for work" ad, the role, location, description and contact details you choose to enter are published on the site and are visible to anyone who visits it. Only include contact information you're comfortable making public.

Your email address. We ask for your email address only to send you a confirmation link (to activate your ad) and a private management link (to extend or delete your ad later). It is not published, not shared with third parties, and not used for marketing without your separate consent.

Server logs. Like most websites, our server automatically records basic technical information (such as IP address, date/time, and requested page) for a short period, for security and troubleshooting purposes.

Legal basis

We process ad content and your email address to provide the service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Server logs are processed based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and functional (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who else sees this data

We do not sell your data. Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf as technically necessary to run the site. If we later share individual listings to our Facebook page, only the ad content you already made public would appear there — never your email address.

International data transfers

The site is hosted in Germany. We do not currently transfer your data outside the European Union.

How long we keep your data

Ad listings and the email address linked to them are automatically deleted 30 days after posting, or earlier if you delete the ad yourself via your management link. Server logs are kept for 14 days and then deleted automatically.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy of it (data portability), and to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
